We\’re seeking a Fraud Team Leader – SIU (Specialist Investigation Unit) based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex to lead our team of Intelligence Analysts and oversee our counter fraud services on a 12-month FTC. You will lead investigations into claims and policies, ensuring compliance with company protocols while developing a cutting-edge intelligence model. Your leadership will be vital in shaping our strategic direction and maintaining our competitive edge. Responsibilities include managing complex intelligence requests, conducting one-on-one meetings, appraisals, managing absences, coaching, and maximizing team potential through training and development. Initially, you’ll spend a couple of weeks in the office for onboarding and training. Afterwards, benefit from a hybrid schedule with 4 days working from home and 1 day in the office weekly. What we offer: Salary from £40,000 – £42,500 depending on experience Monday to Friday, no weekends! 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays and an extra \’You\’ day off for personal occasions or relaxation Supportive team environment £100 off your car insurance Vibrant, busy workplace Responsibilities include: Delivering the counter fraud services business plan and meeting KPIs and SLAs Providing regular reports to the Intelligence Manager Handling complex queries and supporting team members Managing staff performance, conducting reviews, and addressing employee issues Recruitment, training, and development of team members Improving departmental procedures related to claims fraud investigations and intelligence Ensuring accurate recording and processing of intelligence, maintaining data security Uploading intelligence to systems promptly Representing the company as a witness in police and court cases Ensuring team compliance with TCF principles Collaborating with other teams to ensure best practices Experience & skills: Strong motor fraud background, including claims and policy fraud Experience developing fraud strategies and initiatives Proven leadership and performance management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Negotiation and influencing abilities Effective time management and prioritisation Motivational leadership in high-pressure environments Problem-solving with a logical approach Numeracy and literacy skills Cert CII or ACFS/ACFTECH qualification (advantageous) Behaviours: Commercially focused Self-motivated and enthusiastic Decisive and proactive Organised with attention to detail Independent and team-oriented Flexible and positive attitude Confident presenting complex information clearly Driven to meet performance targets and improve business outcomes What we offer you: Our people are our priority.
