Duties

  • Provide assistance and support to individuals with daily living activities
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Help with feeding & drinking
  • Administer medication under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living areas
  • Accompany individuals to medical appointments or social outings
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
