We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised logistics business, considered to be the leader in its field. The role of a Poultry Production Supervisor is based in Waltham Cross.

Job Description:

  • Ensure all working tickets are carried out to customer specification, shelf life checks, product quality checks, calibration of portion sizes, packaging specifications & requirements.
  • To issue all daily tasks and targets to butchers, poultry cutters and packers.
  • Carry out daily pre-operational hygiene checks in your area & monitor staff hygiene practices and standards per department sector.
  • Be expected to work extra hours during busy periods and shall be given time back in lieu during quiet periods.
  • Ensure all QC & paperwork is completed in full & handed to QA assistant on a daily basis.
  • Supervisors will undertake full responsibility for their department actions, performance and productivity.
  • Monday to Friday ~28 days annual leave including 8 days bank holiday.
  • Ideally a candidate with Supervisor or Managerial experience within a food environment.
