We are currently recruiting for our client, a Thailand-based global leader in food and agricultural production, who are looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join their manufacturing operation in Newmarket. This is a hands-on role supporting the efficient running of production lines while maintaining the highest standards of food safety quality and hygiene.

The successful candidate will assist with line set-ups, changeovers, production checks and paperwork while supporting Team Leaders and standing in for them when required.

  • Assist with the day-to-day running of production lines to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure all production processes meet company quality standards and customer requirements
  • Complete production checks and associated paperwork accurately and on time
  • Maintain product traceability throughout the manufacturing process
  • Carry out deep cleaning of production lines and equipment
  • Complete tasks and production records using Redzone and SAP systems
  • Carry out metal detection and other CCP checks in accordance with food safety procedures
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained throughout the production area
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, hygiene and efficiency

Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment is desirable. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards is essential. Industrial hygiene cleaning experience would be beneficial.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English, good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards are required. The ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and a flexible approach with a willingness to support different areas of the operation when required is also necessary.
