We have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our client, a market leader in the Waste Management industry based near Maidstone, on a temporary on-going basis with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.
Shifts: Monday to Friday 6:30AM - 2:30PM/finish
Pay rate: £17.06 per hour
Overtime after 40 hours: Saturday: £25.29, Sunday: £34.12, Bank holiday: £34.12
Roles and Responsibilities:
- As a Class 2 Driver Refuse Loader, you will be responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle and assisting with the loading and disposal of waste and recyclable materials from designated areas.
- Working as part of a team, you will ensure efficient waste collection and adherence to safety regulations.
- Collecting General Waste/Recycling and Food waste from Residential properties within the area.
- You will be working with a team of loaders whose primary role is to ensure the vehicle is loaded; as a driver, you will be required on occasions to assist with the loading.
- Your primary role is to drive and ensure the vehicle is driven safely.
- Work is an ongoing temporary placement and will be booked on a week-by-week basis.
About you:
- Valid UK Driving licence, CPC and Digi Tachograph.
- Reliable and Punctual.
- Prior experience an advantage but not essential.
- Newly qualified drivers welcome.
