We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised logistics business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £18.27 per hour for night shifts. The role is based in Bedford - Marston Gate. We offer full support for you to succeed in your role!

Shifts: 18:00-03:00 any 5 nights from 7
Pay: From £18.27 per hour, paid weekly
Main Duties:
- Take accountability for own health and safety and fully support site objectives
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers
- Parking trailers in the yard including reversing into bays
- Opening and closing trailer doors and curtains
- Vehicle and trailer allocation
- Liaising with the warehouse on vehicles to be unloaded
- Liaising with the warehouse on vehicles to be loaded
- Maintaining a 7 day digi download on every vehicle
- Daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain a daily check record
- Check vehicle cleanliness and record any new vehicle or trailer damage
- Liaise with transport and fleet coordinator regarding fleet maintenance
- Help manage defects and VORs
- Remove load security measures from loaded trailers
- Assist the loading team with positioning the load on the trailer bed
