We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to work for Royal Mail as a Royal Mail Delivery Operative with pay rates from £13.07 per hour. The role of Royal Mail Delivery Operative is based in Basingstoke.
You don\’t need any experience; we offer full support for you to succeed in your role! First Call Contract Services are an employer of choice for candidates from many backgrounds, such as delivery driver, warehouse, customer service, support worker, retail associate, cleaner and many more.
All staff will need a VALID UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENSE with no more than 6 points and no major convictions as you may be required to drive a company vehicle from time to time
Shifts for Royal Mail Delivery Operative (Must be flexible with your hours)
- Hours: Must be flexible to work between 2pm to 8pm, Mon-sun
Pay for Royal Mail Delivery Operative
- £13.07 per hour
- Paid weekly
Main Duties of Royal Mail Delivery Operative
- Sortation of round prior to departure
- Vehicle checks
- Driving manual vehicle to delivery locations or working on foot
- Delivering letters and small parcels to home and business addresses
About You
- You must hold a valid UK manual Driving License
- No more than 6 points for minor offences (No IN, DD, DR)
- Happy to drive a company issued vehicle or work on foot
- Be physically fit
- Happy to work outside in all weather conditions
PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to complete the Royal Mail Vetting Process which includes a basic DBS check paid for by you.
