About the Role
Our client is a well-established manufacturer operating within the specialist ingredients and global supply chain sector. They are seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Coordinator with strong international trade and shipping experience to join their busy Logistics team. This role is responsible for coordinating the worldwide import and export of products in a fast-paced and demanding environment, covering road, sea, and air freight. This is an office-based position offering stability, structure, and the opportunity to work within a global logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange international transport with hauliers and freight forwarders to meet strict deadlines
- Coordinate import and export shipments across road, sea, and air freight
- Prepare and manage all required shipping documentation, including:
- Bills of Lading (B/Ls)
- Certificates of Origin (LCCI)
- EUR1 certificates
- Certificates of Free Sale
- Dangerous Goods Notes (DGN)
- IATA Shipper's Declarations
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in international logistics, shipping, import/export, or freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international trade documentation
- Proven experience handling shipping and export documentation accurately
- Confident user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong attention to detail with a pragmatic, solution-focused approach
- Minimum GCSE Grade 5 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
