First Call Contract Services is currently recruiting Machine Operators to join our client based in Headcorn, Kent. The pay rate for this role is £13.40 per hour. This position involves rotating AM and PM shifts on a weekly basis. At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing is desirable.

Working pattern for Machine Operator:

  • Early shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Late shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Pay: £13.40 per hour. Paid weekly.

Main Duties of Machine Operator:

  • Ensure all products are made to company specification including temperature, weight, photo standards, CCP requirements.
  • Report all failures to Team Supervisor and/or Shift Manager.
  • Assemble, decant, and blend products in line with company standards and production plan requirements at all times, reporting any issues or failures.
  • Ensure all products are processed within the required heating and chilling temperature parameters.
  • Report any operational issues to Team Supervisor and/or Shift Manager.
  • Ensure all process machinery and equipment is cleaned to a high standard.

About You:

  • Knowledge of working within a food manufacturing environment would be desirable.
  • Positive, team-oriented individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Word and Excel skills.
  • Hold Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

This role would suit candidates with previous experience working in a food production warehouse or for employers such as Amazon, Parcelforce, DHL, or similar organisations.
