We are looking for someone based in either London, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Manchester, Nottingham or Birmingham.
We are seeking a proactive, creative, and delivery focused individual to join our Operations team as a UK Expansion Associate. In this role, you will support the growth of our UK network by helping to deliver new market launches, local activation campaigns, and city warming initiatives that drive rider adoption and long term success.
You will work across teams and on the ground to bring new schemes to life, from supporting tenders and mobilisation planning, to executing launch events, rider engagement activity, and early performance tracking. Acting as a bridge between strategy and delivery, you will help turn ideas into real world outcomes in cities across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in fast paced environments, enjoys travel and variety, and wants to build a career at the intersection of operations, growth, and urban mobility.
What you’ll do:
- Market Expansion & Launch Delivery: Support the end to end delivery of new UK markets, from early mobilisation through to live launch. Including on the ground coordination, event set up and early rider engagement activity. You will play a key role in ensuring new schemes launch smoothly and gain strong early traction.
- City Activation & Growth Initiatives: Design and deliver creative local activation projects that drive rider sign ups and usage. This includes pop up events, partnerships, community engagement, university campaigns, employer schemes and other city warming incentives to build awareness and adoption.
- Rider Communications & Local Marketing: Work with central marketing and operations teams to localise rider communications for each city. This may include launch campaigns, in app messaging, email or on street activation, ensuring messaging is relevant, engaging and tailored to each market.
- Project Ownership & Field Delivery: Our small to medium sized projects from planning through to execution. This will often involve regular travel across the UK to deliver activity in person, manage local partners and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
- Tender & Growth Support: Support the operations leadership team with tender responses, market research, competitor analysis and data gathering to help win new contracts and expand existing ones. You will help shape the operational and activation strategy that sits behind each bid.
- Additional Responsibilities: Support wider UK expansion and operational projects as required, adapting to the fast paced nature of a growing micro-mobility business.
About you:
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English language.
- Experience in a professional setting (internship, entry-level operations role, or equivalent experience preferred) with exposure to operational processes and workforce management.
- Strong work ethic with an entrepreneurial mindset, and a readiness to take on increasing levels of responsibilities and a commitment to enhancing stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Ability to understand data to assist operational leadership with decisions around cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm (flexibility available).
- The ideal candidate will be a university graduate seeking to build a long-term career and grow within the business.
- Willingness to travel to various sites and locations as required.
- Opportunity to work from home, subject to business needs.
