Job Description
RECRUITIUNG NOW FOR 5 POSITIONS AS SEASONAL DRIVERS – LEADING TO FULL TIME OPPORTUNITIES.
Braintree based servicing airlines at Stansted and London City Airports
First Call Aviation is excited to recruit for the world's largest independent provider of catering services for airlines.
What you will be doing
- Driving LGV C vehicles from and to airlines including following strict driving standards on 'Airport Roads and Aircraft Maneuvering areas'
- Carrying out vehicle checks prior to use
- Loading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraft
- Liaison with flight crew and working in collaboration with other ground handling suppliers
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle
- Adhering to all Road Traffic Acts and additional Airport By- laws
- Additional duties such as Bar and stores packing or search and sealing will be a daily requirement along with any associated paperwork.
- Plus any additional warehouse duties
Minimum Requirements for this role are:
- Valid LGV C Driving License (up to 3 points will be considered)
- Valid Digicard
- Valid LGV Driver DQC and any completed modules for renewal.
- Minimum of 12-months LGV driving plus Airport Airside Driving would be an advantage
- Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act & Tachograph regulations
- A fully checkable 5-year history plus supporting evidence to meet the requirements to work in the Aviation sector have hold a security pass.
Pay & Hours of Work
Shifts: 4 on 4 off – 11.5 hours per day
Start times vary from 06:00 to 08;00
Pay Rate: £ 17.10 overtime is paid @ x 1.5 and Bk Holidays @ x 2
