First Call Contract Services are currently searching for a Clean and Green (Driver 3.5 tonne) operative to be responsible for carrying out a range of street service activities ensuring that a high standard of street cleansing and grounds maintenance are achieved. Ensure that accurate records of work undertaken are maintained and ability to work flexibly and as part of a team to provide excellent street services to the community. You don't need any experience but some would be preferred. We offer full support for you to succeed in your role!

Shifts for Clean and Green Area Operatives:
- 7.00 am - 16:00 pm Monday to Friday
Pay: From £15.16 per hour, Paid weekly
Requirements for the Clean and Green Area Operatives:
- Prior experience of working in a Grounds Maintenance or Street Cleansing Service preferred
- Use of equipment such as pedestrian and ride on mowers, strimmers and street sweepers in public spaces
- willingness to work as part of a team and undertake a range of duties that may fall outside of core expertise and experience
- Full clean UK Drivers Licence
- Understanding of and commitment to principles of Equality and Diversity and compliance with Thurrock Council policies
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to undertake work of a physical nature in all weather conditions
- Functional numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work alone if required
- Ability to complete works records in a clear and timely manner
- Knowledge of the local area
