We are currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant role based in St Ives (Maternity cover). We have exciting opportunities to join a globally recognised business, considered to be the leader in its field of expertise in manufacturing and logistical distribution of golfing equipment.
Administration Assistant General Duties:
- Progressing daily and weekly open order reports
- Running reports, action any discrepancies when required
- Sending completed daily order report to Distribution Manager
- Ensuring weekly stock check reports are carried out, and further investigation checks are expedited
- Booking purchase orders
- Ensuring stock management is up to date
- Supporting with reporting updates
- Arranging booking of container deliveries with import agents
- Liaise with offsite warehouse when deliveries are required on site
Requirements:
- IT literate
- Office skills
- Previous experience in an administration/stock control/warehouse role is essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Ability to compile and use gathered information to improve the work process
- Minimum C grade (or equivalent) in Maths & English
- Good level of written, reading & oral skills
- Able to sit within an office environment for extended periods of time while being able also to walk around the warehouse hastening dockets from reports to ensure work tasks progress and the 48hr KPI is maintained
Pay and Hours:
- £13.59 per hour
- Working hours - Monday to Friday 08.00am to 17.00pm
- 33 days holiday per year
