We have an exciting opportunity to work as a driver for the local council. Pay rates from £15.00 per hour. The role of Class 2 HGV Driver is based in Colchester. You will need a valid licence, tacho card and CPC training. We offer full support for you to succeed in your role!

Shifts for HGV2 Driver:
- 06:30 - 16:30 (early finishes when completed work)
- Tuesday - Friday

Main Duties of Class 2 HGV Driver:
- The working day starts at the council depot at 06:30
- After doing your vehicle checks, you and your team of loaders will head to a set route to collect household waste and recycling items
- All drivers must be prepared to help load the vehicle on occasion - but the role is primarily driving a rear end loader in residential areas.
