About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused PCV Driver to join our Airside Operations Team. This role involves safely transporting colleagues to and from aircraft stands across the airport, while also supporting ground operations during aircraft servicing. This is a dual-responsibility position combining professional driving with hands-on operational support in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving Duties:
    • Safely transport staff to and from aircraft stands and airport locations
    • Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects
    • Adhere to airport airside driving regulations and company safety policies
    • Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of company vehicles
  • Operational Support Duties:
    • Assist team members with handballing cleaning equipment and supplies
    • Support the Hi-Loader Driver during aircraft servicing operations
    • Help position equipment safely and efficiently around aircraft
    • Ensure all tasks are completed in line with safety, security, and turnaround time requirements
    • Work collaboratively to maintain smooth aircraft operations

Requirements

  • Valid PCV Licence (Category D or D1)
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Airside Pass (5-year referencing and DBS check required)
  • Flexible availability for shift work
  • Physically fit and able to lift/move equipment safely
  • Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
