Primary Job Functions:
- Perform basic e-bike maintenance by identifying issues and performing small repairs on vehicles in the field. This may include brake & chain adjustments, tire inflation, and vehicle cleaning to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition when needed.
- Use a bike and a phone to travel & navigate around London to repair bikes which are reported broken.
- Follow procedures set in place when dealing with tasks.
- Diagnosing, repairing, and performing quality control (QC) on vehicles.
- Deploying vehicles to proper locations.
- Marking broken vehicles for retrieval.
- Retrieving any loose batteries found on the street.
- Facing the public.
- Reporting decayed vehicles.
Secondary Job Functions:
- Neatly aligning vehicles.
- Picking up tipped-over vehicles and rebalancing them.
- Clearing trash from baskets.
- Helping clear backlog in the warehouse when needed.
About you:
- Experience in a similar industry preferred, bike mechanic experience particularly.
- Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg on a frequent basis required.
- Knowledge of mobile phone applications. iOS experience preferred.
- Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairs.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasks.
- A safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting rigorous quality checks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with team members.
Shifts times are 10:00am-18:00pm.
Shift Patterns - Sunday - Thursday, Tuesday - Saturday.
Pay: ~£13.00 - £14.50 p/h, Paid weekly.
