Our client is seeking an experienced Evening Shift Manager to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of production efficiency, quality, and safety. You will bring strong technical expertise alongside excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Working closely with the wider team, you will demonstrate effective communication, adaptability under pressure, and a commitment to delivering consistent results in a dynamic production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and quality assurance standards
- Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly to the Production Manager
- Support the implementation of safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Participate in health and safety briefings and training sessions
- Drive line efficiency and productivity
- Reduce downtime and improve changeover times
- Ensure maintenance compliance
- Maintain high quality and safety standards
- Lead and manage a team of up to 50 staff at peak times
