First Call Contract Services are currently recruiting a Line Leader to join our client based in Sheerness, Kent. The pay rate for this role is £13 to £14 per hour - depending on experience. At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing at supervisory/management level is desirable.

Shift for Line Leader: Sunday to Friday 07:00/08:00 start till finish (17:00/18:00 finish - as per site requirements)

Main Duties of Line Leader:

  • Setting up production line before production staff starts
  • Ensure product is to the required specification and promptly address any issues
  • Monitor production processes ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed, data captured accurately in accordance with company procedures
  • Enforce cleanliness and hygiene protocols within the working areas, and equipment

About You:

  • Strong leadership, self-confidence, self-motivation, and communication skills
  • Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - computer literate
  • Flexible and proactive approach to tasks and good planning skills - excellent attention to details

The role involves lifting, strapping of pallets and use of ride on pallet trucks. Previous experience in a production setting is preferred but training will be given. This role would suit candidates with previous experience working for Amazon, Parcelforce, DHL, or similar employers.
