We are currently recruiting Ramp Agents to join our team at Luton Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in aviation, with the potential to move from temporary to permanent employment for the right candidates.
The Role
As a Ramp Agent, you will play an important role in ensuring flights depart safely and on time.
Your duties may include:

Loading and unloading passenger baggage and cargo

Moving baggage between the terminal and aircraft

Operating ground support equipment following training
-
Assisting with aircraft turnaround operations

Working safely around aircraft and airport equipment

Following airport security, safety and operational procedures

Working closely with colleagues and airline teams
-
Completing tasks efficiently within strict turnaround times
What We’re Looking For

Previous airport, warehouse, logistics or manual‑handling experience is desirable but not essential

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions

Comfortable working in a busy, fast‑paced environment

Good communication and teamwork skills

Flexible approach to shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Must be able to successfully complete the required airport security and background checks

Pay & Shifts
£14.25 per hour during winter
Shifts generally start from 05:00
Late shifts can finish around 00:00
Shift times may vary according to operational requirements and may change during summer.
5 on 3 off shift pattern
