We are currently recruiting Baggage Handlers / Ramp Agents to join a busy airport ground handling operation at Luton Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring baggage and aircraft operations run safely, efficiently and on schedule.
Shift Pattern
- Full Flexibility Required
- Rotating shifts between: 04:30 AM – 11:30 PM
- Working patterns include:
- 7 Days On / 3 Days Off
- 7 Days On / 4 Days Off
- 6 Days On / 3 Days Off (Rotating)
This is a 7-day operation, including weekends and bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload aircraft baggage manually and mechanically
- Support aircraft turnaround operations to ensure flights depart on time
- Carry out routine inspections of ground support equipment
- Report any equipment faults, operational issues or safety concerns
- Operate, position and remove company equipment safely and efficiently following training and procedures
- Handle baggage and cargo in accordance with operational requirements
- Follow all airport, airline and company procedures at all times

- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
- Report hazards, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions
- Attend mandatory training and refresher courses
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Work in accordance with all operational and security requirements
- Support a positive safety culture across the operation
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Maximum 6 points)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience
- Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work a variety of shift patterns
- Must be able to pass aviation security clearance checks
- Able to provide a 5-year checkable employment and/or address history
