About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Post Press Finisher to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong print finishing background who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in producing high‑quality finished products. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a range of post press machinery ensuring production runs are completed to schedule while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate post press machinery including Polar Guillotines, MBO and Stahl Folders, Muller Primera Stitchers and Kolbus Binders
- Complete production runs in line with production schedules and customer deadlines
- Carry out quality checks throughout the production process to ensure all finished products meet required standards
- Set up, adjust and monitor machinery to achieve optimum performance
- Maintain accurate production records and report any machinery faults or maintenance requirements
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a double day shift rotation:
- Early Shift: 06:00 – 13:30
- Late Shift: 13:30 – 21:00
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Post Press Finisher or Post Press Operator role
- Hands‑on experience operating at least one of the following: Polar Guillotine, MBO or Stahl Folder, Muller Primera Stitcher, Kolbus Binder
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Experience
- Experience operating multiple post-press machines
- Knowledge of printing industry standards, processes and best practices
