The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, servicing, and fault-finding across a varied client base, including:
- Hospitals
- Care homes
- Health centres
You’ll be working on a range of electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring reliability and performance while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, servicing, and fault diagnosis on-site
- Work with motors, pumps, plumbing, electrical and electronic control systems
- Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical faults efficiently
- Identify and report commercial opportunities
- Accurately update jobs using an electronic task management system
What We’re Looking For
- Background in a technical, engineering, or service environment
- Strong fault-finding skills (essential)
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Working Hours
Monday to Friday (hours vary depending on job schedule and location). On-call rota: 1 week in 8 (evenings up to 8pm + weekends).
