About the Role
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join their hardworking and dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career while helping to maintain homes and make a positive difference for tenants. The role will primarily involve working in and around Norwich, with some travel required across Norfolk and North Suffolk. Duties will include reactive repairs, fault finding, void works, and EICR electrical works within domestic properties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership of effective and efficient electrical repairs in both occupied and vacant homes
- Working as part of a team delivering an in‑house domestic EICR testing programme
- Covering responsive repairs and electrical inspections
- Providing testing support where required
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards of service, aligned with our client’s values and behaviours.
Essential qualifications:
- City & Guilds 5357 / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & 3
- C&G 2357 & AM2 or C&G 5357 with AM2
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing (or equivalent)
Additional requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in property maintenance
- Good IT skills
- Willingness to join an on‑call rota
A basic DBS check will be required for this role.
