Hours: 5 days out of 7 (07:00-17:00 / 07:30-17:30 depending on season and workload)

Our client is looking for an experienced Packhouse Operations Manager to lead and drive the day-to-day activities of their busy packhouse. This is a hands-on role where you will ensure customer orders are produced to the correct quality standard, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate the packhouse team to deliver a high-quality, efficient operation.
- Monitor daily performance and take proactive action to improve underperforming areas through coaching, training and redeployment of skills.
- Oversee production start-up and operational checks, ensuring all procedures and quality standards are followed.
- Work with the quality and technical team to maintain customer quality specifications.
- Maintain an audit-ready environment including hygiene, documentation and staff training.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency, quality and compliance.
- Provide accurate performance data and participate in daily operational meetings.
- Proven supervisory or team-leading experience in Fresh Produce, Food Production or FMCG.
- Experience operating packing machinery and ensuring compliance on packing lines.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing audits and understanding audit requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English; Russian speaking is a bonus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
