HGV Technician / HGV Fitter to join a busy maintenance operation based at Heathrow Airport.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a modern fleet of heavy goods vehicles and specialist airport equipment within one of the UK’s busiest aviation environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Complete repairs efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Perform MOT preparation and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults.
- Complete all maintenance documentation accurately.
- Work safely in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Support breakdown response where required.
- Ensure workshop equipment is maintained and kept clean.
- What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter.
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (preferred) or apprenticeship.
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on HGVs, trailers or specialist commercial vehicles.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- HGV Licence (Class 1 or 2) advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
