We have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 2 drivers to work on a local council contract, initially driving an HGV class 2 Romaquips Vehicle, and moving onto RCV’s. A permanent position will be available for those who qualify.
Rates:
- New Pass Drivers: £18.00 per hour
- Experienced Drivers: £22.00 per hour
Shifts for HGV Class 2 Drivers:
- 06.45 to 15.15 Monday to Friday
- Weekend work optional
Pay:
- Experienced Drivers: Mon to Fri £22.00 per hour, Overtime after 40 hours £33.00, Saturday £44.00, Sunday/BH £44.00
- New Pass Drivers: Mon to Fri £18.00 per hour, Overtime after 40 hours £27.00, Saturday £36.00, Sunday/BH £36.00
Paid weekly.
Main Duties of HGV Class 2:
- Driving Romaquips / RCV’s Vehicle in a professional manner
- Making waste collections
- Max of six points for minor offences, no DR10, IN10 or DG10
