EXCELLENT PAY RATES, NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED – ongoing/full-time work. First Call Aviation has lots of opportunities for people to work in an exciting role as a Checker/Dispatch for a major aviation catering business based near Glasgow Airport.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- To obtain uplift sheet with daily allocation of flights, update sheets for the transport operation.
- Keep accurate records of changes & transactions (i.e. check off/record changes).
- Check & Amend aircraft configuration changes (i.e. shortages/increases).
- Ensure correct use of stowage labels on each piece of airline equipment as appropriate.
- Keep updated on work to be carried out during the course of the shift and note latest amendments.
- To check all equipment and ensure it is to satisfactory standard, i.e. in good working order (trolley doors, brakes), clean (old tickets removed), dry and bars for correct specification and quantities.
- Assemble and check allocated flights & ensure delivery to appropriate department/bay/class.
- Assemble and check relevant stock/equipment & ensure delivery to appropriate department/bay/class.
- Assemble and check sundry items (flowers, newspapers, juice, water) are placed on relevant flights as required.
- Implement Dry Ice procedure as instructed.
- To work as directed in different environments for example, chillers and fridges.
Hours of Work: 7am/9am to 3:30pm/5:30pm, 5 out of 7 days (7 day coverage). FULL TIME POSITION ONLY, all workers are expected to be able to follow shift rotation.
Pay Rate: £13.23 p/hour, weekly payments – every Friday.
Please note, due to the nature and location of this position, we are required to carry out a 5 year background check and Criminal Record Check on all candidates.
