We have an exciting opportunity to work for the local authority. Pay rates from £14.01 per hour depending on shifts. The role of Admin Assistant is based in Braintree.

Shift Schedule:

  • Flexible working hours, full time or part time
  • 07:00 to 15:00
  • 08:00 to 16:00
  • You can choose the hours you work, within reason!

Pay:

  • From £14.01 per hour
  • Paid weekly

Main Duties:

  • Collating and understanding data and presenting to Management in a suitable style
  • General Administration duties, including telephone, E‑Mail, minute taking, typing, and filing for Operations
  • Respond to all customers in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner
  • Provide administrative support for all the teams within Operations by providing information/advice
  • Develop and maintain various departmental information systems, e.g. databases and spreadsheets
  • Where requested, prepare relevant paperwork and reports, maintaining accuracy and ensuring that deadlines are met

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT/Microsoft office skills
  • Pro‑active approach taking responsibility for day‑to‑day tasks, workload and priorities
  • Good organisational skills
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Able to work in a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same
  • Customer service experience
  • Mailbox management / organisation skills
  • Complaints experience
