Job description MUST HOLD FULL UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENCE– Pay: £14.48 per hour START DAY : FEBRUARY 2026
Overview: You will be a key component in the safe turnaround of aircraft, this includes the loading and unloading of passenger baggage, cargo & mail. The safe and on‑time delivery of passenger baggage and be part of the team that delivers a safe arrival and departure.
Main accountabilities include:
- On-load and off-load baggage manually or mechanically, in accordance with the relevant training received.
- Carry out equipment inspections.
- Report any faults or irregularities with equipment, facilities or processes to the appropriate management.
- Operate position and remove company equipment, in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the relevant training received.

- Co‑operate with their manager / supervisor in order to allow them to perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company.
- Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, safety or welfare reasons.
- Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety.
- Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.
- Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
- Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
- Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
- Engage with and follow our code principles.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Customer and safety focus.
- Full UK Driving License.
- The ability to lift and move heavy baggage and work outdoors in all weathers.
- A respectful, friendly and supportive approach.
- Reliability, punctuality and organisational skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations.
SHIFTS: 6 on 3 off – rotating shifts – need to be fully flexible to work early and late shifts.
