We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised waste management organisation, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £12.71 per hour, increasing to £14.01 after 12 weeks. The role of Refuse Loader is based in Hemel Hempstead. You don’t need any experience; we offer full support for you to succeed in your role!

Shifts for Refuse Loader:

  • 06:45 to 14:45 Monday to Thursday
  • 06:45 to 14:15 Friday

Pay Rates for Refuse Loader:

  • From £12.71 per hour for standard hours.
  • Standard rate increases to £14.01 after successful completion of 12 weeks work.
  • Overtime and Saturday working paid at 1.5x standard rate.
  • Sunday is paid at 2x standard rate.
  • Weekly Pay.

Main Duties of Refuse Loader:

  • Collecting refuse/recycling/food/medical/garden waste along a designated route.
  • Loading and lifting refuse into truck (full training is provided).
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Physically fit and able to lift, as you will be on your feet for long periods of time and you may be required to lift items into the truck.
  • Be happy to work in all weather conditions 52 weeks of the year.
