Location: Split-site: Tottenham / Bermondsey

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday

Shift Time: 9:00 – 18:00

Salary: £17.50 per hour

What you’ll do:

  • Schedule and oversee routine maintenance for two warehouses, consisting of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
  • Act as the first point of contact for reporting and resolving facility issues and ensuring that urgent maintenance issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Source, vet, and manage external contractors (cleaners, security and landscapers). Review service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure the two warehouses comply with local health, fire and safety regulations by completing all assigned actions and tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Keep safety records up-to-date and maintain first aid kits.
  • Manage the stock of office supplies, kitchen essentials, and maintenance tools. Process invoices.
  • Examine rooms and furnishings to determine whether they require repairs or renovations. Collaborate with stakeholders to select equipment that aligns with the company’s design and aesthetic standards.
  • Support with day-to-day operational tasks and additional ad-hoc job-related tasks as assigned.

About You:

  • 3+ years of professional work experience; a minimum of 2 years of experience within a facilities coordination position, operations or office management role.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Fluent verbal and written English language skills.
  • Familiarity in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite).
  • Experience in building and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure when emergencies occur.
