Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Vehicle fault diagnostics, vehicle safety inspections, breakdowns, servicing and repairs in accordance with First Bus Standard Engineering Operating Procedures
- To fully comply with all HS&E legislation along with Group Policies
- To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain and develop technical skills as required
Location: Weymouth
Working Hours: 39 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 on a rotation of early and late shifts
Pay: £16.76 p/h (£33,989 p/a) with a shift payment of £14.53 per day over 5 days equaling around a potential additional £3000 per year
About You:
- A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds Level 1&2)
- Ability to multi-skill within an Engineering Environment
- A flexible approach to working hours
- A full driving licence is essential, a PCV licence would be beneficial
