About the Role - Coachbuilder
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Coachbuilder to join our busy mechanical engineering team in Taunton. We’ll provide your overalls and equipment needed to get the job done.
Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducting accident bodywork repairs
- Window repairs
- Diagnosing body faults
- Performing collision and vandalism repairs
- Addressing routine inspection findings and defect cards
- Painting minor bodywork repairs
- Handling fibreglass bodywork
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance to interior body components
- Documenting repairs for third‑party insurance claims
Location: Taunton
Salary: £16.71 p/h - £33,887 p/a
Working Hours: 39 hours per week, day shifts Monday–Friday
About You
Do you have a minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent, with proven coach‑building experience? Do you have welding experience? Full driving licence is preferred. Have you worked experience in vehicle accident repair and painting for PSV/HGV vehicles? A PCV licence isn’t essential – we can support you in gaining it.
