We're looking for a Garage MTV Analyst and Garage Support Assistant to join our team at Wandsworth Garage. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data while also playing a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy operational environment. You will help ensure accurate mileage reporting, support TFL compliance requirements and provide essential administrative support that contributes to the smooth running of the garage.
Responsibilities
- Accurately record and analyse lost mileage data using the Missing Trip Verification (MTV) system
- Monitor and evaluate log cards and service controller input for accuracy
- Investigate discrepancies in mileage reporting and identify opportunities for cost recovery
- Produce, review and maintain detailed mileage reports for internal stakeholders and TfL submissions
- Monitor and audit operational data to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards
- Support internal and external audits and assist with maintaining accurate records
- Provide administrative support to Operational management
- Handle enquiries from employees, visitors and members of the public via phone, email and in person
- Maintain garage databases, accident records, lost mileage information and other operational documentation
- Manage lost property administration and provide general clerical support including filing, document preparation and meeting coordination
Skills Required:
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous administrative experience and excellent organisational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience producing reports and working with large volumes of data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work accurately to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- A willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced operational environment
