About the role

Role responsibilities include:

  • Vehicle fault diagnostics, servicing and repairs including MOT preps in accordance with FirstBus Standard Engineering Operating Procedures
  • To fully comply with all HS&E legislation along with Group Policies
  • To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain and develop technical skills as required
  • Work will cover all depots within the east, working 5 days on 2 days off shifts, with some overtime expected.

We\’ll provide your overalls (PPE) needed to do your job successfully.

Hourly Rate

  • £17.51 p/h (Overtime paid at time and a half)

About you

  • Do you have a minimum Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent (i.e., City & Guilds Level 1&2) qualification?
  • Do you have a flexible approach to working hours?
  • An aptitude to develop others within the Engineering Team
  • Do you hold a clean valid UK driver\’s licence?
  • A PCV licence is desirable or show a willingness to obtain a PCV licence as we will help you obtain your PCV.
  • Experience of working with coaches would be advantageous, but not a necessity.
