Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement.
  • Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
  • Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair.
  • Fully comply with all HSE legislation along with Group Policies.
  • Fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain and develop technical skills as required.

Location: Halifax – Elmwood

Working Hours: 37 per week, 4 over 7 days, 2 out of 4 weekends on a rolling pattern of early and late shifts.

Pay: £20.00 p/h (£38,480 p/a)

About You:

  • A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds Level 1&2).
  • Ability to multi‑skill within an Engineering Environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • A PCV licence is desirable; ability to obtain PCV licence is essential.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
