Position: Cleaning Team Leader
Location: Weston‑Super‑Mare, Searle Crescent, BS23 3XP
Contracted Hours: 39 per week - full time & permanent
Shifts: 4 on 3 off Wednesday‑Saturday 16:00-02:00
Hourly Rate: £14.75 per hour
Annual Salary: Approx. £29,913
About The Role: Do you take pride in keeping things spotless and running smoothly? Join our dedicated team of Cleaners, Engineers, and Maintenance staff who keep our fleet in top condition. As a Cleaning Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in making sure our vehicles are ready to hit the road each day at our busy Weston‑Super‑Mare depot. For helping keep our fleet on the road, you’ll earn a good hourly pay rate and great rewards & benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assist with planning the rota, duty and shift allocations
- Assisting with the internal and external cleaning of buses and depot premises with the use of specialist equipment and chemicals
- Assist with fuelling, oiling, watering, shunting and parking of vehicles
- Complete cleaning records, cover shifts, quality control audits on cleaners
- To adhere to the Health and Safety at work policy, ensuring protective clothing is used properly at all times and appropriate practices and procedures are always followed
About You:
- A full UK driving licence is a requirement of this role
- At least 6 months of cleaning experience, confident using cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Must have supervisory experience
- A PCV licence isn’t essential, we can support you in gaining it
