This is an opportunity based in Central London which will take your sales skills to new levels while having fun helping tourists to plan their activities in London.

You don't need experience, you need character, and we'll provide all the necessary training.

This is a unique role, in which you will gain expert knowledge of London and its attractions, meet people from all over the world every day, and stand to earn great commission weekly on top of your competitive basic salary.

This can be an ideal summer role or a chance to develop a career in sales in the Travel, Leisure and Tourism industry.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

  • Promoting our tour and attraction options to London's visitors.
  • Captivate prospective clients by sharing our many products and services, highlighting features and benefits tailored to their needs.
  • Diligently promoting The Original's tour and attraction packages to all prospective customers from our licensed bus stop locations around central London.
  • Marketing The Original Tour brand using branded leaflets and verbal messages.
  • Assist ticket-holding customers with accurate advice and guidance to get the most out of their visit using our bus network.
  • Transacting payments and ticket redemptions.
  • Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
  • Confidently collaborate with other customer-facing members of the tour operation, such as Tour Drivers and Tour Guides.
  • Keep abreast of daily relevant industry information, such as opening and closing times of attractions, events and places of interest and being aware of public transport disruptions and any other events that may be of interest in the capital.
  • End of day recording and reconciliation of the Company earnings, paperwork and equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills, with previous experience in sales or customer services an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • A good team player who can also work independently.
  • A keen interest in London, its culture, history and places of interest.
  • Other spoken languages are desirable (although not essential).
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
