About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a driven and customer-focused Sales Executive to join a growing business based in Cheltenham. This role would suit someone with a background in sales, account handling or customer service who enjoys building relationships and working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll manage day-to-day communication with customers, handle enquiries, and ensure a high standard of service throughout the customer journey. You must have a valid UK Licence for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming customer enquiries, providing clear, professional and timely responses
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication
  • Handle quotations, orders and follow-ups to support revenue and customer retention
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
  • Proactively monitor deadlines and commitments to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure a smooth end-to-end customer experience
  • Identify opportunities to add value and improve customer relationships
  • Maintain accurate records across internal systems
  • Work in line with Health & Safety policies and company procedures
  • Operate in a sustainable and responsible manner
  • Provide flexibility for business needs, including occasional weekend work

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in sales, account management, customer service or another client-facing role
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Organised and detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Reliable, motivated and professional in approach
  • Essential: Full UK driving licence
