Recruitment / Talent Acquisition Specialist Location: Stroud Hours: Full or part time, up to 37.5 hours per week. Early finish Fridays at 1:30pm. All hours worked on-site/in-office. Salary: £28,000 – £35,000+ DOE (negotiable for the right individual) We are looking for an experienced Recruitment / Talent Acquisition professional to join a friendly and supportive team. Previous recruitment experience is essential, ideally within mechanical or engineering recruitment. The role has been initially approved for 3 months, with flexibility around salary and hours for the right person, particularly someone who is available to start immediately. You will support the HR Advisor and HR Director across the busy recruitment and talent function, managing multiple vacancies, coordinating the recruitment process and ensuring candidates receive a professional and positive experience throughout. Duties: * Support the HR Advisor and HR Director with all aspects of recruitment and talent acquisition * Manage multiple live vacancies, ensuring roles are progressed quickly and efficiently * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the internal HR system * Draft, review and post engaging job adverts across relevant job boards * Review CVs and conduct initial screening calls * Forward suitable candidates to hiring managers and coordinate interviews * Build strong relationships with hiring managers, managing expectations and providing regular recruitment updates * Liaise with PSL recruitment agencies * Ensure candidates receive a professional and positive experience throughout the recruitment process * Oversee hiring and onboarding processes, including offer letters, contracts and relevant pre-employment checks * Provide general support across the wider HR and talent function as required Experience: * Previous recruitment or talent acquisition experience is essential, either agency or in-house * Experience recruiting for engineering roles is highly desirable * Good understanding of engineering positions such as CNC, CAD and Mechanical Engineering * Ability to manage multiple vacancies, projects and deadlines simultaneously * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * A team player with a flexible approach and willingness to muck in and support colleagues Benefits: * Free on-site parking * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata) * Company bonus schemes * Early Friday finish at 1:30pm * Friendly and supportive working environment * Further benefits available
