Key Responsibilities of a Deburr Operative:

  • Remove burrs and debris from machined components using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Inspect critical features to ensure components meet quality standards
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Use borescopes to inspect cross holes and galleries
  • Complete and sign off dimensional record sheets
  • Operate wash tanks to clean finished components
  • Maintain traceability of all components
  • Support part marking activities following training
  • Maintain 5S standards and housekeeping within the work area
  • Work closely with the machine shop team to ensure production targets are met
