Location: Worcestershire

Hours: 40 hours per week (onsite)

Monday to Thursday: 7:45am – 5:15pm

Friday: 7:45am – 1:00pm

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 DOE

Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of a Responsible Welding Coordinator:

  • Lead all welding coordination activities in accordance with ISO 14731
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2, EN and DIN 2303 standards
  • Develop, qualify and maintain WPS and WPQR documentation
  • Support technical reviews and production planning activities
  • Maintain welding competency matrices and ensure appropriate deployment of personnel
  • Coordinate pre, interim and post-weld inspection and testing activities
  • Audit subcontractor welding capabilities where required
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across welding operations
  • Monitor KPI performance and investigate non-conformances
  • Work closely with compliance, quality and production teams to maintain audit readiness

Key Skills of a Responsible Welding Coordinator:

  • CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector qualification
  • HNC or higher qualification in Fabrication & Welding or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a welding or fabrication environment
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 3834 and EN 15085
  • Experience developing and implementing welding procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and leadership capability
  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office
