Key Responsibilities of a Paint Prep & Finisher:
- Preparation of components to achieve high-quality paint finishes
- Masking and preparing parts prior to painting
- Colour matching to customer specifications
- Selecting appropriate paints for different applications
- Spray painting primers, base coats, top coats and finishes
- Working with and preparing carbon fibre components
- Polishing gloss finishes to a high standard
- Carrying out quality checks on completed work
- Following work instructions and customer requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Adhering to health, safety and environmental procedures
