We are working with a specialist welding and fabrication company based in Gloucester who are looking to appoint an experienced machinist to join their small, close-knit team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities of a Machinist:
- Machining fabricated components to customer and engineering specifications
- Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings
- Operating conventional lathes, milling machines, and a horizontal borer (SJ-100)
- Using own initiative and supporting other team members where required

- Strong understanding of machining practices
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
