HR Advisor Location: Stroud Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum Hours: Full Time 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday (Fully office based) Key Responsibilities of a HR Advisor: * Assist in all aspects of the delivery of a valued and trusted generalist HR function. * Provide advice, guidance, support, best practice and commercial solutions on all aspects of people management with both managers and the teams. * Oversee and fulfill HR Administration with the support of the HR Administrator. * Put together contracts, policies, update HR documents and draft guidance notes. * Carry out reporting, research and investigations. * Chair and minute disciplinary, grievance, inductions, exit interviews, return to work, maternity/paternity meetings, etc. * Update and keep concise and accurate personnel documentation within the defined business systems * Oversee the processing of payrolls supported by the HR Administrator. * Provide focus on continuous improvement, implement changes and new processes to create working efficiencies as well as being cost effective. * Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports as required. * Any other task and duty that is relevant to the HR department. Key Skills and Experience of a HR Advisor: * Generalist knowledge of HR processes and procedures. * Good working knowledge of UK employment law. * Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written. * Excellent organisation and time management skills. * Experience using HRIS systems along with analytics and reporting * Experience of writing detailed HR policies such as guidance notes. * Ability to be flexible within a dynamic and fast moving environment * Driving license and access to a vehicle
