CNC Miller Setter Location: Quedgeley, Gloucestershire
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm, Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Miller Setter:
- Setting and operating 3-axis and 5-axis HAAS CNC milling machines (VF4 and UMC)
- Editing and adjusting HAAS programmes as required
- Carrying out first-off inspections using verniers, micrometers and other measuring equipment
- Ensuring components are manufactured to specification and quality standards
- Supporting colleagues and assisting across the machine shop when required
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Key Skills of a CNC Miller Setter:
- Minimum of 3 years' CNC machining experience, including setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Experience with HAAS controls and machinery
- Strong understanding of G-Code with the ability to edit and adjust programmes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Competent in the use of inspection and measurement equipment
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team
