Despatch Coordinator

Despatch & Logistics Co-ordinator Location: Clevedon Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Thursday: 08:45 – 16:45, Friday: 08:45 – 16:00, including a 45-minute paid lunch break and early finish on Fridays) Salary: Competitive salary plus a range of excellent benefits Scope of the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Despatch & Logistics Co-ordinator with a positive outlook and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, confident in working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a supply chain role, particularly in liaising with logistics providers, hauliers, and customers, is essential. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and confirm deliveries or returns with customers and transport providers, ensuring compliance with booking-in procedures. * Prepare accurate despatch paperwork (electronic and hard copies) in line with customer requirements. * Manage the timely despatch of finished products, liaising with customers, transport teams, and internal stakeholders. * Oversee third-party storage of raw materials to align with production schedules. * Ensure efficient management of contract-manufactured products to meet customer and internal requirements. * Handle import and export documentation in compliance with international regulations. * Maintain professional and timely communication across the business. Key Skills & Requirements * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build effective relationships. * Experience in a similar logistics or supply chain role. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Experience with SAP/SAP B1 is advantageous. * GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above in Maths and English. * Excellent time management skills with a flexible approach to work. * Full Right to Work in the UK. * Full, clean UK driving licence
