Hours: Double days

Salary: 15.62 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines and associated processes safely and efficiently.
  • Produce parts in accordance with technical drawings and route cards.
  • Ensure all components meet schedule requirements and quality standards.
  • Follow departmental procedures to deliver best-in-class service while maintaining company quality procedures.
  • Carry out offset changes, tooling, and cutting tip changes as required.
  • Perform quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment and ensure documentation is accurately completed.
  • Update manufacturing shop floor data collection systems as needed.
  • Maintain and continually improve 5S standards.
  • Participate in Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
  • Identify and highlight opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Work safely and report any health and safety risks.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Train other operators as required.
  • Ensure all work aligns with IATF16949 quality requirements.
  • Liaise with other departments to support operations.
  • Perform any additional ad-hoc duties as necessary.
