  • Quality Control Technician
  • Monday to Thursday: 08:45 – 16:45
  • Friday: 08:45 – 16:00 (includes a paid 45-minute lunch break and an early finish)

The Role

We are recruiting for a Quality Control Technician to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business.

Working within the Compliance Technical Team, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality and food safety standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous quality control experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out quality control testing on finished products and raw materials.
  • Upload quality data onto SAP and release approved products.
  • Set up and coordinate taste panels.
  • Prepare and dispatch samples for chemical, microbiological and allergen testing.
  • Complete scheduled microbiological swabbing and water sampling.
  • Support production by responding to technical queries and completing associated documentation.
  • Assist with technical projects and provide wider support to the Technical Team.

About You

  • Previous experience within a Quality Control or Quality Assurance environment.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach with a positive attitude.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
