Key Responsibilities of a Technical Desk Spares Engineer

  • Assist service engineers in identifying correct part numbers using machine manuals
  • Support engineers with identifying spindles across a range of machines
  • Raise PIDBs with factories to obtain parts delivery information
  • Prepare and issue customer quotations
  • Process customer orders following order confirmation
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm availability and delivery times of parts
  • Provide day-to-day support as part of the Spares Team within the Service Department
